Pre-pandemic, I hosted and emceed the monthly First Monday Poetry/Spoken Word Showcase and Open Mic at Epicure Café in Fairfax, Virginia. As poet and founding slammistress of Vermont’s first poetry slam, I have performed my work on stages in California, Texas, New York, New England, Las Vegas, Chicago, and the DC area.
While I regularly share words virtually and in venues around Northern Virginia, my deeper commitment expresses itself in cultivating communities of emerging creatives.
